Legendary Chianti Estate Villa Calcinaia Wine Dinner

We are thrilled to welcome special guest, Count Sebastiano Capponi – 20th generation owner and winemaker of Villa Calcinaia – to Ristorante Bartolotta dal 1993 on Wednesday, June 12 to commemorate their 500 years of winemaking. 

This 200-hectare Tuscan estate, nestled in the heart of Chianti Classico in Chianti, has been home to the Capponi family since 1524, and it's reflected in the family's love of the land and its rich history. In 1992, Sebastiano Capponi took over as the main owner and winemaker of Villa Calcinaia. Since his ownership, Sabastinao has put all his efforts into restoring the rich heritage of old Sangiovese clones and other local grape varietals, giving new life to the vineyards.

The team at Ristorante Bartolotta dal 1993 and Villa Calcinaia owner Sebastiano Cappoini are excited to welcome you to this celebratory evening to enjoy a five-course menu created by Executive Chef Juan Uriebta paired with five of Villa Calcinaia’s extraordinary wines.
