Bacchus Celebrates 15 years with Re-energized Dining Experience
September 27, 2019
Executive Chef Nick Wirth has been at the heart of the kitchen at Bacchus for 10 years. He describes the cuisine at Bacchus as “always featuring high-quality ingredients that are prepared with bold flavors.” His unwavering stance on using the freshest, seasonal ingredients will lead the restaurant forward into its next chapter.
During the renovation, Chef Wirth took a step back to look at the menu with a fresh perspective. Co-Founder and Owner, Chef Paul Bartolotta challenged Chef Wirth to refresh the menu while keeping our guests’ favorites front and center. The re-imagined menu builds upon the Modern American cooking for which it has been known. Chef Wirth has constructed a menu with a multitude of cultural influences, flavor profiles, and dining options.
Three-Course Signature Menu
Guests have several dining options at Bacchus. A new $55 three-course option highlights several signature Bacchus favorites in a simple-to-order-from menu. "We wanted to ensure that guests could still get that classic Bacchus experience, but maybe on a tight schedule or budget," explains Chef Wirth. "This approachable menu allows guests to have a great dining experience and still be able to make a show or downtown event on time."
Order a la Carte
New dishes will continue to be featured on the regular a la carte menu as ingredients come into season. The guiding mantra of Chef Wirth’s kitchen is: “great tasting food without overcomplicating the dish or muddling the pallet.” Guests are still able to enjoy white and black truffles directly from Europe, Rush Creek Reserve cheese as it is released, and seasonal vegetables such as ramps, fiddlehead ferns, morel mushrooms, and heirloom tomatoes at the peak of freshness.
Six-Course Chef's Tasting Menu
If more than one item on the a la carte menu calls out to a guest, guests can order a six-course chef's tasting menu. This dining experience offers a wide variety of a la carte entrees in a composed order and is available with or without wine pairings.
