Ristorante Bartolotta Celebrates 25 Years!

In 1993 the Bartolotta brothers had a dream to bring authentic Italian food to Milwaukee. They probably didn’t imagine that when Ristorante Bartolotta opened its doors in the heart of Wauwatosa, it would become a beloved restaurant, and the flagship of The Bartolotta Restaurants which now has an entire portfolio of fine dining, catering, and casual restaurants throughout the city. 25 years is an accomplishment for any business, particularly one in the restaurant industry - so we are incredibly thankful to our loyal guests, who have really become a part of our family.
Joe and Paul wanted to ensure Ristorante Bartolotta dal 1993 remains special for years to come, so we recently completed a refresh of its dining room and kitchen, an investment that reflects a continued commitment to providing exceptional food and service. Guests are now welcomed back to a newlyrefreshed space, where Executive Chef Juan Urbieta continues to create his menu’s favorites, while sprinkling in a few new traditional regional Italian specialties. The dining room’s enhancements are inspired by the rustic Italian countryside such as new linens, table covers, flatware and china, and curtains.
The biggest changes at the restaurant are behind-the-scenes, in the kitchen, where every surface from the tiles on the floor to the hoods in the ceiling and everything in between has been updated, including an all new kitchen line from Hestan Commercial. These updates provide Chef Urbieta and his team with the best tools to create rustic Italian cuisine while also allowing him to expand the menu with a few new dishes. Chef Urbieta will also continue to offer his Menu Dello Chef with a focus on fresh, seasonal ingredients - a great way to experience his wonderful creations.
