When did you start working at Mr. B’s? I started working at Mr. B’s in June of 2014. Right in time for patio season.

What did you do before working there?
I have worked in the service industry since I was a Freshman in High School.  I've done everything: dishwasher, busser, server, bartender, cook, supervisor and now management.  I attended the University of Wisconsin - Stout where I studied Hotel, Restaurant & Tourism Management.  In 2012, I was able to work an Internship at Lake Park Bistro and have been with the Bartolotta Restaurant Group ever since, working various positions from Bartender to General Manager. I've worked at nearly all of the restaurants, which has been a great opportunity for me to see all the unique differences in the concepts.

What are some of the most popular dishes your guests order at Mr. B’s?
I would say the most popular dish would be a 12 oz Filet with a baked potato.  A steakhouse classic.

What is your favorite dish?
I honestly love all of the food here.  If I were to sit down for a meal with my wife, we would start the meal with fried calamari or oysters on the half shell. I would get the biggest ribeye possible, cooked medium to let some of the fat render down and she would get the 8 oz Filet with extra Bourbon peppercorn sauce (It's that good).  We would finish with the brownie skillet and an after dinner drink, probably Bourbon.

What do you like to do when not taking care of guests at Mr. B’s?
My wife, Caitlin, and I have our hands full with our little doggie.  Her name is Bertie, and she is a Golden Doodle. She keeps us busy.  I like to golf when I can find the time, and my wife and I try to have a date night when we aren't working.  We like to travel to see new cities. When we can, we go back to my hometown of Prairie du Chien to visit family and friends.  We also have family in Denver and Portland, Oregon; so we get to visit some pretty cool places.
