Benanti Wine Dinner
In 1988, Giuseppe Benanti revitalized his family’s vineyards, laying the foundation for a legacy of excellence in Sicilian winemaking. Under his leadership, Benanti became the first to cultivate vineyards on four different slopes of Mount Etna, playing a pivotal role in bringing this previously overlooked region into the global wine spotlight while focusing exclusively on native grape varieties. Giuseppe's legacy continued when his sons, Antonio and Salvino, took over the winery in 2012, building on their father’s vision to capture the best of the unique mountain terroir. Today, the Benanti family remains at the forefront of Sicily’s wine industry, celebrated for their dedication to traditional methods and their significant role in elevating Mount Etna as a premier wine region.
Join us on Wednesday, October 9, for a memorable evening at Ristorante Bartolotta dal 1993 as we celebrate the exceptional wines of Benanti. We are delighted to welcome Salvino Benanti, co-owner of Benanti , who will guide us through an exquisite selection of wine pairings while sharing captivating stories about his family’s vineyards. To complement these exceptional wines, Executive Chef Juan Urbieta has crafted a delectable five-course Sicilian menu designed to enhance each wine pairing.
