After almost 10 years, the owners of one of our all-time favorite Italian wine producers - Castello delle Regine (Castle of the Queen) - return to Ristorante Bartolotta for a one night only dinner on Tuesday, August 16.

Owners Livia Colantonio and Paolo Nodari will be on hand for the evening. Paolo, one of the most respected and successful lawyers in Italy, has created a spectacular estate on a historic site. Besides vineyards and olive groves, Castello delle Regine features a high-end restaurant, elegant villas for rental, their own hunting reserve of boars and herds of rare species of pigs, and the legendary giant, snow-white Chianina cattle (used for Bistecca Fiorentina).

While Tuscany may be more famous, those in the know realize that nearby Umbria has all the same attributes, without the tourist crowds. Several Bartolotta chefs and managers have traveled to Umbria and enjoyed the luxury and hospitality of Livia and Paolo. We look forward to welcoming them back to Ristorante Bartolotta and returning the favor!
