The IT Administrator serves as the primary contact for all Bartolotta employee IT needs.  He or she will coordinate with third party IT partners, perform periodic maintenance and troubleshoot issues related to all technology related products including computers, phones, LAN, applications, computer peripherals, security and monitor the organization’s overall network health.   


JOB DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Troubleshoot problems with systems, programs and hardware
  • Maintain the company’s computer systems and operating IT environment
  • Establish and maintain network users, user environment, and security
  • Assist in integrating new applications and technologies into the current system 
  • Train users on software and equipment usage
  • Manage third-party software vendor relationships
  • Develop and communicate standards for use, operations and security of network, personal computers and data
  • Manage data backup and retrieval processes
  • Ability to multi-task and prioritize projects effectively


EDUCATION/TRAINING REQUIREMENTS:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems or related field
  • 2+ years’ experience as a systems administrator
  • Prefer 1+ years’ experience as a Computer Technician or Desktop Support Specialist in a retail/hospitality/restaurant environment
  • Demonstrated experience in “hospitality heart” customer service
  • Ability to respond to help desk requests during restaurant operating hours
  • In-depth knowledge and experience with point-of-sale systems
  • Ability to effectively respond to questions from employees at all levels of the company
  • Local travel between various company locations
