One of the best activities is to enjoy a refreshing cocktail at one of the Bartolotta signature restaurants. Our talented bartenders get in the summer spirit with specialty cocktails made just for the season. Many times these cocktails are unique to a particular restaurant, meaning you can’t get these libations just anywhere. “The New Fangled” at Bacchus
This cocktail is imaginative and a nice alternative to something like a mojito – the celery gives it a fresh taste that is exactly what you want in a summer drink!
- 1 slice lime
- 1 slice cucumber
- .5 oz simple syrup
- Muddle (a la Old Fashioned)
- 1.5 oz Broker’s London Dry gin
- .5 oz Dolin Blanc
- 3 dashes Fee Bros. Celery Bitters
- Fill with ice
- Top with tonic
“The Hawaiian Hemingway” at The Rumpus Room
It’s an ode to classic books and cocktails for the heavy drinker and heavy reader in us. The name of the rum tips its hat to a character in a Charles Dickens novel who drinks too much pineapple rum.
- 2 oz Plantation’s Stiggins’ Fancy Pineapple Rum
- .25 oz Luxardo maraschino
- .25 oz simple syrup
- .75 oz Grapefruit juice
- .25 oz Lime
“The Le Ferre” at Ristorante Bartolotta
This is a truly unique summer drink. All ingredients are poured over ice in a cocktail shaker and well-throttled until a thin sheen of frost forms over the outside of the shaker, about 45-60 seconds. The result is the most velvety, silky-smooth and refreshing summer cocktail you’ve ever tasted.
- Malfy (an Italian gin)
- Strega (sa ron-tinted Italian liqueur)
- A dash of house-made sour mix
- Ristorante brand Le Ferre extra virgin olive oil - SOLD AT RISTORANTE
- 1 Egg white
