Fall Froth at Bartolotta's
Autumn is here and we are looking forward to snuggling up to watch football, taking walks outside to see the foliage, and of course, partaking in seasonal food and beverages. Oktoberfest lends itself to a large variety of beers and the flavors of fall can be found in so many of our both our bottled and beers on tap. Here are just a few of our recommendations to help you sip your way through the season. Prost!
David Armstrong, General Manager at The Rumpus Room, had plenty of options to offer! One that will be available this fall is Central Waters’ Ouisconsing Red Ale, the beer has a malty flavor with oral and caramel notes, and is a great beer to transition from summer to autumn. David also recommends the New Glarus Staghorn Octoberfest beer. The beer uses the world’s most expensive hops and fresh yeast from Germany. Hold it up to the harvest moon and enjoy a smooth amber body with a finish as crisp as the autumn air.
Over at Mr. B’s - A Bartolotta Steakhouse Assistant General Manager, Vince Halpin recommends the Karben4 Block Party Amber, a local gem from Madison, Wisconsin. The beer is medium-bodied with a full flavor and would pair nicely with a hearty ribeye.
