General Manager and Executive Chef positions filled by internal promotions and new hires
MILWAUKEE - The Bartolotta Restaurants, the premier restaurant and catering organization in the Greater Milwaukee region, is proud to announce several new leadership appointments throughout the company portfolio, signifying a mix of internal promotions and hiring of industry veterans.

The Bartolotta Restaurants is proud to elevate several new leaders from within the company, reinforcing the dedication to mentorship and career pathing that has been a foundational pillar for over three decades.
- Anna Bartolotta has been elevated to the General Manager for Mr. B’s – A Bartolotta Steakhouse – Brookfield. Anna Bartolotta previously served as General Manager Tournant and helped lead the teams at Roundhouse Beer Garden at McKinley Marina and The Commodore – A Bartolotta Restaurant.
- Jeremy Nelson has been elevated to General Manager of Catering & Events at Discovery World. Jeremy Nelson joined The Bartolotta Restaurants in 2017 and has previously served as Operations Manager and Director of Restaurant Sales.
- Mariana Popescu has been elevated to the General Manager at Bartolotta’s Lake Park Bistro. Mariana Popescu also serves as Sommelier and has worked at the prestigious restaurant since 2008.
The Bartolotta Restaurants also prides itself on hiring unique talents with industry expertise to bring fresh perspectives and diverse experience to the company, cultivating an environment of ongoing leadership development and a shared commitment to the company’s core values. - George Renner has been named the General Manager of Bacchus – A Bartolotta Restaurant. A Wisconsin native, George Renner brings over two decades of experience, having worked in cities such as Chicago and Fort Lauderdale.
- Scott Garthwaite has been named the Executive Chef at The Commodore – A Bartolotta Restaurant. Scott Garthwaite has held several leadership positions as a chef in cities such as Las Vegas, Detroit, Madison, and Chicago.
- Tommy Girrbach has been named the General Manager of The Commodore – A Bartolotta Restaurant. Tommy Girrbach brings with him an extensive career in hospitality with experience in cities such as Chicago, Aspen, Sedona, Salt Lake City, and Nashville.
