How Care-a-lotta Works

Our mission is to support local nonprofit organizations and create platforms for awareness to help make Milwaukee a strong, vital community in which to live and work. Read below to see exactly how we work towards this goal.

COMMUNITY CARE-A-LOTTA: Gift Certificate Donations

Each month, The Bartolotta Restaurants award $100 in Care-a-lotta certificates to 40 local organizations for their benefits, galas, fundraisers, and other events. These certificates are awarded through a lottery system. Organizations may apply as often as they’d like but are only permitted to win once per the calendar year.

Applicants are placed in a lottery one month prior to the month of their event. It is recommended that you apply at least two months before your event.

Organizations that are selected will receive a Care-a-lotta certificate at the beginning of the month of their event. For example, if your event takes place in March, please apply by January. If your organization is selected, you will receive you certificated via mail in early March.

GALA-LOTTA: Annual Not-For-Profit Fundraiser

Congratulations to Running Rebels, our 2019 Gala-lotta winner!

Each year, The Bartolotta Restaurants selections one local not-for-profit organization as its Gala-lotta partner, allowing us to use our resources to raise awareness and funds for the organization and its mission throughout the year.

The Gala-lotta winner will host their fundraiser in the beautifully renovated Italian Community Center. The partnership is intended to be highly collaborative and will be completely staffed by Bartolotta employees volunteering their time and talents.
